  1. Your GRWM is really fun. I love hearing about makeup marketing and bioethics in the same video. I realize that it may not be everyone's preferred style, but I hope that you keep doing these.

    1. Right there with ya! More intellectual beauty blogging, please.

Non-product-reviewing ideas — how about more "this is what I wore on my face today" types of posts or videos? Also a fan of beauty culture dissections.

    2. I can work on that! Thanks so much.

  2. I LOVED this. More videos please. Totally agree with you about the bioethics issue. I have a transgender son, and the ramifications of these breakthroughs completely creep me out.
Those women on the bus would have gotten on my last nerve. My micro irritation of the day is parents with SUV sized strollers. Was in a super crowded coffee shop today and there were TWO of them and the kids weren't even IN them! Jesus. I'm sure the parents were afraid to leave them outside (strollers, not babies) bc they cost as much as an actual car.
Anyway, thanks for the vid, should have been titled "Why Don't I Do More...etc" your videos are great.

    1. Okay, I had to google image strollers. Man, I didn't realize they made them so big now! My parents had a double stroller for my brother and I (because we're twins), but some of these things are double the size of what they had. And the cost, holy fudge.

  3. Video and blog ideas: I like what you're doing now. I like to see you whittling down your stash, and I like to see which new products will knock an old favorite out of contention. My weakness is allowing myself to partake in the hype on drugstore products because I can. Your videos remind me why it's better not to.

    1. The problem is that you eventually reach a point where you can't whittle down anymore. Actually, I'm relatively content with it the size it is now--I've hit most of my stash goals, for instance--and I'd be fine with getting in a few new items this fall. So if you don't want to buy a ton of new things, but you're also not okay with getting rid of more...what are you left with?

  4. I appreciate the fact that you don't buy everything under the sun and only use what truly works for you. I am currently on a no-buy, trying to use up the products I have and see what actually works for me. I find your blog helpful with not buying new things and shopping my stash. Thanks for the hard work you put into it!
p.s. CRISPR is creepy and I dislike those people who have no regard for anyone else or their time, also. It's one of those little things that just irks the heck out of me lol.
