FOTD (and a preview of sorts!)

I've been trying out a few new products for some upcoming reviews and getting used to photographing myself in Super Creepy HD again, so here's a FOTD! Obviously not my best. I'm not going to blame it entirely on "new products," though--I haven't worn much makeup over the past month, so I'm a little out of practice, and I wanted to do something easy and product-light. I'll try to put a little more effort in to the next FOTD. :)

One of the products I'll be reviewing is the Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon, which you could win! The giveaway ends on Friday night, so be sure to enter if you're interested and eligible. :)

So yes, this photo is in HD. Here's my question: do you guys want me to continue using HD whenever possible? On the one hand, it's more detailed and can give you a better glimpse of the products; on the other hand, seeing my nose hairs, zits, and mascara mishaps in HD might disgust some people. The choice is yours! :)

  1. HD is cool whenever you can do it. You look fine in HD, no gross hairs or anything lol.

The YSL blush looks very natural! I've been wanting to get into cream blushes but I find that when I apply them with my fingers, they disrupt the makeup underneath. Has that ever happened to you?

Oh, and how do you like the Flower mascara? I have two of their lipsticks in the black cases (loooooove them) but I've never tried anything else even though I always glance at that section whenever I'm in Walmart.

    1. It has happened, but I find that the YSL cream blushes are absolutely perfect over every time of makeup: liquid, powder, gel, you name it. The formula is truly phenomenal!

The Flower mascara is nice--I like that you can choose from 3 wand shapes--but I found that it dried out and got flaky after about 2 months.
