A Giveaway for the Winter Break!

My brother and partner will be visiting us this month, so I'll be taking a brief hiatus from the blog to spend as much time as possible with them. I'll keep posting on my other social media (ReneesAnatomy on Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter), and I'll be back to the blog in January when my men have returned to their respective jobs. In the meantime, I thought it'd be great to have another giveaway as a thank you for all of your continued support!

This time, I'm giving away some of my personal favorite products: the Shu Uemura Hard 9 Formula brow pencil in Seal Brown, Glossier's Coconut Balm Dot Calm, and a mini-tube of the original MAC Strobe Cream. Obviously, everything you'll receive is brand new; I just used my pencil for this photograph because I didn't want to take the new one out of  the packaging.

As always, there are some rules for this contest:

  • You must be at least 18 years old and located in the US to enter.
  • You must be prepared to provide me with your full name and address if you win.
  • You may only enter once.
  • Entries will be finalized on December 31st at 11:59pm EST. I will use Random.com to pick a winner.
  • You do NOT have to be subscribed to this blog to enter, but I will announce the winner in a blog post, so it might help to bookmark BOGL for the next month if you've entered. If you do not respond to that blog post within a week, I will draw a new winner.

This will be the first time I try to use Rafflecopter, so please bear with me in case I make any mistakes. Beyond that, good luck, and I'll see you in 2017!

  2. For 2017 I'm looking forward to the new Hourglass Blush Palette. I already ordered it. Just waiting on it now. I'm also looking forward to see the colors used by some of my fave brands for color stories, mainly NARS and Chanel.

  11. I'm looking forward to incorporating azaleic acid into my skincare routine and hopefully figuring out what works for my skin in 2017. Then I'll finally find my dream foundation and ride off into the sunset.

  12. I'm waiting to see what new highlighters are coming out for spring. I have Becca's Pearl on my list, but want to see new stuff before I commit!

  16. I'm looking forward to playing with color in general (rather than a particular product) on my face more in 2017 once I get my skin cleared up.

  17. I am mostly looking forward to slimming my collection down and using things up. I really want to get down to a smaller collection I love. I haven't been shopping, or window shopping much, so I am blissfully unaware of any cool stuff coming up! I do want to get more into fragrances though in the coming year.. While still managing to keep a handle on collection size.

  20. I'm looking forward to trying more lipstick colors beyond MLBB. :)

  21. I honestly don't have any product launches that I'm excited for in 2017, however I'm excited to keep playing with my stash (I placed a sephora order yesterday) and panning more products (I've panned 2 lip products so far and I'm almost done another).

  22. I'm intrigued by the new Smashbox eyeshadow palettes. They have a variety of different themes (mattes, brights, warm, smokey, etc) and seem to be pretty affordable. They're available now, but I think they're technically a spring 2017 product.

  23. My favorite product of 2016 has been the Jouer Tint -- which pretends to be a multi-use blush/lip product, but it's a blush -- in the shade Bare. It looks super natural and lasts all day. I love it SO much.

In 2017, I'm looking forward to the new Glossier lines. They mentioned 3 new product categories, so I'm intrigued. Hair? Candles? Kool-Aid?

  24. Trying to find an affordable brow pencil - I'm going to try the colourpop taupe pencils.

  25. In 2017 I'm excited to get use of my collection while improving my skills. I hope that I can find the perfect vampy lipstick shade for me, as it's something that I've been unable to do.

  26. Looking forward to really streamlining my makeup collection to items I really get tons of use out of this coming year. Thanks for the giveaway!

  27. 2017 is going to be all about moisturizing BB creams (I prefer Korean brands) and undereye concealing to fake the youthful glow! So, you know, just like the last 10 or so years. ;-)
happy holidays 'n' stuff to you, Renee!

  28. Not sure what's coming up but the past few years I've always been pleasantly surprised by YSL formulas (e.g. Tint-In-Oil, kiss and blush) so I look forward to seeing what they release in 2017!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Favorite product of the year has actually been an application technique, if that's fair: applying lipsticks with my fingers so they come across as stains has been transformative!

  30. Exited to see any new too faced palettes. Love their palettes!

  31. I'm just very excited for perfecting whatever I am doing with my face routine. I think that 2017 will finally be the year I discover a foundation that works well with my insanely dry skin and/or figure out a skincare routine that helps me.

  32. I want to use up stuff to try new stuff in 2017... it's a very catch-22 situ. I have at least 1 item in each category (or enough colors if color-variable) that I like enough to use up, so I can't justify buying more... Goal #1 is to use up my possibly ill-thought-out purchase of way too many Colourpop eyeshadows, so I can swap them out for MUG shadows entirely. My OCD is already upset that I have a few non-CP ES...

  33. I think my fave product this year was probably MUFE Aqua Brow. Yeah, it's a boring brow product, but it's absolutely amazing. Waterproof, pigmented, lasts forever, and is cool/dark enough for my brows. In love

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm looking forward to any of the high-end/luxury brand releases in 2017. I haven't been buying as much makeup, except for things used regularly, but I'm willing to break my low-buy for good releases.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm looking forward to slimming down my collection in 2017, only leaving the stuff I genuinely love and enjoy using. Also to finding my HG skincare items, haven't found ~that~ moisturizer/serum combo just yet!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hope you have a great holiday! I'm looking forward to new Bobbi Brown collections and YSL's Touche Eclat Cushion compact.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Always looking for the right foundation/moisturizer for redness.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm hunting for a new brow product, since my HG was discontinued. :( Otherwise, planning to focus more on skincare than makeup for 2017!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm pretty pumped for the new Morphe palettes.

  40. I'm looking forward to the new wet n wild collecton coming out in 2017 :D!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm excited to try out some Kat Von D products

    ReplyDelete
  42. I was just gifted a Glossier gift card for Christmas, so I'm excited to try the new products they release in 2017, including Priming Moisturizer Rich, because the original was not hydrating enough for me.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Going into 2017, I'm enjoying the It Cosmetics Tightline Mascara Primer (not for tightlining, but those no-makeup, makeup days) and returning to the Laura Mercier cavier eye sticks (these have a tendency to crease for me if I use too much, but the amethyst is a beautiful color).

I just ordered the LM illuminator in Devotion, which is a super pretty pale pink. None of these products are new on the market, but they'll be big in early 2017 for me:)

  44. 2017...definitely going to focus more on skin care & the possibility of finally taking the microblading plunge! Thanks for the giveaway!
