VIDEO: Who Should Try This?, episode 1

I'm back to posting a bit earlier than I thought I'd be, but it'll still be sporadic for a couple of weeks, so please bear with me! I thought I'd try out this new series where I go over products I've been wearing and give you some idea as to who might like them and who should pass. Any full reviews I've done will be linked as they come up. :)

  1. I always enjoy your videos! I think you're right that the FS cream blushes are for people who use cream blush regularly. I always found the pigmentation of Paris to be a little too intense, and the only other cream blush I have is Illamasqua Zygomatic, which is nude and sheer. I'm glad Paris and London didn't turn out to be identical!

I'm actually tempted to buy another Glossier lipstick at some point. The cheap tube is annoying, but I'm liking the formula a lot for casual days.

    1. I was actually thinking you'd like Crush! It's certainly a warmer pink, but I think it'd be flattering--I really liked So Sofia on you, for instance.

  2. I bought the JHAG set at christmas and there was not a voucher. None with my ELDO sampler either. I'll probably get that sampler at the VIB sale. I wish Glossier would do a pop up in Seattle so I could try some of the stuff before I decide to buy!

    1. Did you order the JHAG from Sephora? If so, I *think* the voucher is only available when you order directly from them--they still list the refund on their website.

  3. I got that set from Sephora and there was definitely no coupon.

I'm a big fan of the HdP set (and Marquis de Sade, which I feel like makes me smell the human embodiment of one of those dark-paneled Victorian studies with a big winged armchair) also, although of course I now want $500 worth of perfume when my current budget is more like $15.

Weird final question--do you remember how much of a difference there is between the two lightest colors of D&G powder foundation? I can't decide on a color (and can't test in-store) but want to get one ordered before the Sephora sale is over...

    1. I don't know if they've changed it since I bought, but: 50 Ivory was more yellow, around NC10, and 60 Classic was more pink, around NW15. Hope that helps!
