This is the first giveaway that's open to both the US and *Canada!
I'm a huge fan of charity. One of my favorite charitable organizations is the MAC AIDS Fund. According to MAC, every penny from the selling price of MAC Viva Glam lipsticks goes to this fund, which supports organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS and promote educational programs worldwide. As an added bonus, your donation earns you a lipstick, and every shade in the Viva Glam range is exceptional.
The open tube in this photo is actually mine. Yours is the one that's brand new and in the box. :)
Entering is, as always, super-simple: comment on this blog and tell me about your favorite charity. It can be a local charity, a fun run, a major organization...just tell me who you love to support! Make sure your name is on the comment, because that's how I'll announce the winner. (I don't recommend just typing up your e-mail; you're asking for spam.)
Please be aware that there are some rules for this contest:
- You must be at least 18 years old and located in the US or *Canada to enter.
- You must be prepared to provide me with your full name and address if you win.
- You may only enter once.
- Entries will be finalized on September 27th, 2015 at 11:59pm EST. I will use Random.com to pick a winner.
- You do NOT have to be subscribed to this blog to enter, but I will announce the winner in a blog post, so it might help to bookmark BOGL for the next two months if you've entered. If you do not respond to that blog post within a week, I will draw a new winner.
Also, I want to remind everyone that I pay for these giveaways out of my own pocket. That's not me trying to guilt you, that's just me saying that I have to have the money available to send the products out. Hence, it may take me a week or two to get the goodies sent to you after you win. But they will be sent! :)
Best of luck, and thank you for supporting Bad Outfit, Great Lipstick!
* I've had trouble with Customs when I've shipped to Canada in the past...but I'm going to brave it all and try again!
Biggies Bullies is a Pittsburgh PA, foster home based rescue founded in 2011. As a small rescue, our mission is to rescue and re-home Pit Bull type dogs in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. Big breeds have big hearts <3
ReplyDeleteMy youngest sister started and runs AptArt: http://www.aptart.org/, so of course that's my favorite. I mean, aside from just being super proud of her, I think what she does is pretty great too. Other then that, I support the ASPCA and Planned Parenthood.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite charity is the Dear Jack Foundation. They are a young adult cancer organization. Adolescent and young adult cancer is one of the least researched and funded demographics of cancer patients and subsequently, survival rates have hardly increased in over 30 years. The DJF's goal is to change this while providing better resources and quality of life programs for adolescent and young adult cancer patients!
I have a number of charities I love to give to. My favorite ones are: The Oasis Sanctuary, a refuge for surrendered pet parrots; The Ironwood Sanctuary, they take in surrendered pet pigs; The National Federation for the Blind, and The Christian Appalachian Project that supports Native Americans the poor of the Appalachian region. Thank you, for the chance!

Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteJust to be clear: this comment does not count as an entry because you did not discuss your favorite charity.
DeleteThanks for reading!
My favourite charity is the SPCA. I've volunteered for them in the past and the animals are just too cute and lovable to ignore!
ReplyDeleteI donate regularly to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. I donate to others of course but I've been involved with this one for years now. I think they represent a very worth cause. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSaint Jude's hospital and animal shelters, I feel those two really make the most impact in my life. Helping a child or animal live hopefully a better tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite charity is SickKids. They have done so much for my friend's daughter.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite charity is SickKids. They have done so much for my friend's daughter.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is UNICEF. I have worked with them the past few years and they go above and beyond.
ReplyDeleteFurkids Animal Rescue and Shelter, a no-kill shelter group in Atlanta. I also like to donate to a smaller local group in my neighborhood that does kitten fostering.
ReplyDeleteI really like the charity/program Centro SOL. It focuses on giving inner city Latino youth access to different resources so that they can explore their interests in the medical field over the summer. I loved being a part of such a great and inspiring group! (:
ReplyDeleteI like to donate on a more local scale rather than a national scale. My SO and I always donate money to our local high schools' arts programs (band, choir, art, drama, etc.). I also work with a school program that feeds kids over the weekend and school holidays. Sometimes donating your time is just as valuable as donating money! I definitely have many causes near to my heart so I try to give back as much as I can. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHi :) My favorite charity is probably Compassion International. My husband and I sponsor a little girl from Brazil and a little boy from Columbia. The organization connects you with impoverished children around the world. Compassion is very similar to World Vision also.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day :)
