Birthday Bright: Lipstick Queen Bright Rose Sinner
It's my birthday, so I'm celebrating by making an Oooh-I-Love-It post about the early birthday present my mom bought me. We stood in front of the display for a good 15 minutes last month; I was waffling because I wanted to get something my mother would like (she's big on nudes and soft pinks), but we all know I'm attracted to brights (and she did actually like Hot Rose Saint!). Finally, she told me to get whatever looked the best to me. And I, of course, went for a bold Sinner: Bright Rose.
Like most opaque lipsticks, Bright Rose Sinner can be blotted on for a softer, more sheer color, or layered several times for fuller, brighter coverage. I obviously prefer the brighter version on the right, but the toned-down look is definitely a better choice for conservative work environments or family functions.
I will say that Bright Rose Sinner is a bit creamier and less matte than my other Sinner lipsticks, which I bought roughly a year ago. I'm not sure if the formula has changed as a whole, or if the difference is unique to this shade.

So pretty! And happy birthday!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I kept forgetting it was my birthday on the actual weekend, LOL
DeleteI totally thought they were two different lippies so this LQ is versatile! Happy Birthday too
ReplyDeleteI think most bright lipsticks are more versatile than people give them credit for. Definitely try blotting some on! :)
