The Fruits of My Operation Use-It-All Labors

After months of using every product in my collection just once (barring a few special occasions) and doing some real soul-searching about what kind of makeup I really do love and wear, I've managed to greatly reduce my stash. The pictorial evidence is nice, but sometimes, numbers speak louder than words. Here's a little look in to my stash and how much it's been reduced over the past 3 months via my blogsale, swaps, and RAOKs:
  • 39 lipsticks and stains -- was over 100
  • 20 lipglosses -- was over 50
  • 9 highlighters -- was 17
  • 29 powder blushes (plus one backup) -- was over 50
  • 14 cream blushes -- was 31
  • 5 foundations and concealers -- was 9
  • 2 mascaras (not including samples) -- was 4
  • 14 pigments -- was over 100
  • 9 eyeshadow palettes
  • 24 single eyeshadows
  • 9 cream eyeshadows
Overall, my collection used to take up space in/on:
  • the entire top of my dresser,
  • 5 Sterilite container drawers,
    •  2 jumbo
    • 3 small/flat
  • the tops of 2 Sterilite containers, and
  • a cup on my desk.

The amount of space my reduced collection takes up:
  • 3/4 of the top of my desser,
  • 2 Sterelite container drawers,
    • 1 jumbo
    • 1 small/flat
  • and a cup on my desk.
